Come on out and celebrate our first performance of the year on 4/20 with a special show “Alternate Curves Ahead”, hosted by Margo Adrift. The Heathens will be playing last on a bill featuring several performers. This will be our debut performance for some new material. Backfire Moto is a local gathering place in the Greenlake area.

Saturday, June 8, 2024, 8:00PM – “It’s Nuts” at The Hidden Door, 14525 Aurora Ave N, Shoreline, WA,  – with Charley Churchill And The Heathens

This will be a special variety show hosted by our friend/artist/performer Sage Viniconis as a benefit for Footprints Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Sage has been putting on this show for the past few years and it features a wide range of multi-disciplinary performances including: Dance, Magic, Visual Art and Music. It’s always a blast and we’re happy to be a part of it.

I am returning to play at this 33rd annual fundraising event for the Phinney Neighborhood Association in their classic old schoolhouse building/community center. This is popular social event and this year there are 13 participating wineries. I’ve been playing there for a few years in a row now and every year is a different musical approach. We’ll see what happens this year! Come on out for a nice evening.

It’s time for a holiday celebration at CoCA! We’re starting it up with a fun combination of holiday films from the amazing film jockey Brian Edwards interspersed with holiday sing alongs. Brian’s unique and fascinating selection of short films from around the world brim with holiday spirit. A wide variety of holiday-themed songs with projected lyrics are available for audience request. This will be a nice opportunity for the CoCA community to gather and celebrate together. Fun for all ages!

It has been a minute since I was performing live soundtracks to movies in the park and various venues with Brian Edwards and his eclectic collection of films. I am very excited to be again joining Brian and musical magician Amy Denio to perform to the classic silent film “The Patchwork Girl Of Oz” from 1919 produced by Frank Baum himself!  As usual Brian will have additional suprises from his collection of film delicacies.

**Past** - Thursday, November 2, 2023, 5:00-9:00PM – “Organized Mischief” at the Center Of Contemporary Art (CoCA), 114 Third Ave S. Seattle, WA 98104

This will be a special interactive installation titled “Sing/Say” at the CoCA gallery Day Of the Dead opening of the “Organized Mischief” exhibit. Visitors will be invited to contribute to an evolving soundscape using a microphone and electronic triggers for meditative pads, sound effects, and ritual instruments from around the world. Let’s see how we can have fun creating an audio atmosphere for the exhibit.

BIO

Timothy Scallon

Timothy is a multi-talented musician from Seattle, WA, specializing in classical guitar, as well as electronic and pop music.  He has composed, recorded, performed and improvised as a solo artist and with various groups at festivals, music clubs, galleries, and special events, both public and private.  His productions have also included multi-disciplinary performances with dance, spoken word, robotics and visual media such as live, improvised music for movies in the park and soundtrack recordings for informational and artistic videos.  Tim enjoys experimenting with digital looping, iPad technology and the ever-changing field of tools available to the modern musician.
